To report your child’s absence call the school on 01908 372979 and select option 1 for our absence reporting line, leaving your child's name, class and reason for absence.
To ensure children’s safety, and help us meet Government guidelines, parents are required to contact the school before 8.45 am on the first day of your child's absence to inform us of their absence from school. Alternatively you may send an email to the school office firstname.lastname@example.org
Parent/Carers are required to call or email in to inform us about any children absent for any reason.
If the school is not contacted, a call home will be made to ensure all children are accounted for. If school cannot make contact with any of the people on the contact list, a home visit will be made.
If your child is off school for more than one day, please be aware we require you to notify us of your child's absence each day they are off.
If your child is absence from school for more than 5 days and you are unable to provide medical evidence, (medical evidence can be a Doctors appointment, prescribed medicine or evidence of a call log). We may refer to the Local Authorities unauthorised absence procedures, which may result in a fine.
